Guidelines For Use Of The First Cathedral Conference and Meeting Facilities
Among many other excellent programs, The First Cathedral serves the community by offering the use of its facilities to qualified faith-based, non-profit, educational and community organizations. The entire staff is dedicated to providing you with the absolute best accommodations and event management. Our goal is to create lasting relationships with our clients and encourage corporations and the community to consider utilizing the facility on an on-going basis.
FACILITY USAGE AND HOURS OF OPERATION
- The First Cathedral Facility is open seven days a week for rental to qualified faith-based, non-profit, educational and community organizations. Requests to use the facility on Sundays are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- Hours of Operations are:
i. Mondays – Fridays 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
ii. Saturdays & Sundays 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Requests for use of the facility outside of the normal hours of operations will incur additional charges.
- Prior to being scheduled, all events shall be approved in advance by the Special Events Coordinator through the submission of the “Request for Use of Facilities Questionnaire.”
- Groups using the facilities must use The First Cathedral’s Food Service Provider, if a meal or refreshments are to be served.
FORMS/SERVICE STANDARDS
1. In order to best accommodate requests, organizations are asked to complete a “Request for Use of Facilities Questionnaire” and submit it to the Special Events Coordinator at least 90 days prior to the event. (See link below)
2. If nonprofit status is indicated, evidence of 501c (3) Tax Exempt status for the organization requesting use of the facilities is required prior to finalizing a contract
3. Upon receipt of all necessary forms/paperwork, the Special Events Coordinator will contact the requesting organization or individual within two (2) business days to confirm availability of the facility and review rental rates before a formal contract is executed.
